Ben Woodcock is a multidisciplinary artist, designer and educator from Portland, Oregon.
Ben’s work aims to forge unexpected relationships between content and context. He holds an appreciation for things that stand firm as trends come and go. His work constructs an assembly that is celebratory and jovial in nature, but always supremely thoughtful in its intent.
Ben is a staff artist at New Seasons Market and former adjunct instructor of Graphic Design at Portland State University.
Ben is currently available for freelance design, art and illustration opportunities. Creative services include, but are not limited to experiential graphics [murals], branding, icon systems, sign painting, menu boards, commissioned art pieces/portraiture and chalk illustration & lettering.
When he’s not hammering away in the studio, Ben can be found enjoying time with his lifelong-love Caitlin, son Fred, dog Murray, his friends and family, rooting on the Trail Blazers or “improving” the house. He’s a fan of baseball, lawn games, sneakers, sports cards, pizza and The Office.
